We've Outgrown Our Old Site!!

Due to rapid expansion in recent months, amorphicmedia.com has outgrown our original site. Currently, we are developing a new site that, in addition to presenting our services and portfolio, will also provide helpful information and tutorials for current and future Web site design and Web hosting customers.

What will the new site include? While we don't want to give it all away pre-launch, you may have already noticed a new logo and color scheme. The style of this page represents the design direction that the new site will be taking. Of course, the final design may not look exactly like this, after all, we're still working on it, but at least this page may give you some idea.

...Updated Our Web Design Philosophy

We have also 'morphed' into embracing current Web standards, technology, and XHTML. While we had always tested site layouts and functionality using popular browsers and platforms, we have decided to leave the old HTML 4 ways of doing things behind and commit solidly toward implementing W3C XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2 standards and recommendations.

What does that mean for our clients?

Of course, we will continue to test our projects thoroughly using common browser/platform combinations (which have varying degrees of compliance with W3C recommendations) and make any adjustments necessary to ensure that our work looks and functions its best.

What else has changed at amorphicmedia.com?

We have improved our technical knowledge and skills and acquired new ones along the way including:

If you don't understand what all this means, don't worry because another part of the new site will be an entire section dedicated to explaining some of the 'tech' of digital media design and why you should care about it. We will explain everything in plain English so that you can better understand what we can do to help you promote your products, services, brand, and image online. We feel that this information will help you make informed decisions about how best to prepare, plan, and budget for achieving your project's success.

Also included will be a section on what clients can do before and during the lifecycle of a digital media design or re-design project to help ensure that the project runs smoothly, sticks to the timeline, and stays within budget.

It's another way in which we help you to help us help you. You get it?

And while we're at it, we might as well mention that we are also creating interactive tutorials to help our Web site development and Web hosting clients get the most from their sites and hosting packages. Tutorials will include:

current clients can access Web mail by logging in here with your username and password.

As you can see, we've been very busy since the launch of amorphicMedia, com v1.0 in the summer of 2003. Perhaps that's why the re-design of our own site is so long over due? Ok, no more excuses...

if you'd like to offer us feedback on our new design, you can do it by sending a message here: v2.0_feedback@amorphicmedia.com

When will the new site arrive?

The new site is scheduled to launch by April 15, 2006. But we still have plenty of work to do.

In the meantime, please browse our old site or contact us via phone at 201:320.7720 or e-mail for information regarding our Web design, Web development, consulting and other digital media design services.
